not sure if this helps, but my boot/trunk got stuck on my old w202 once and couldnt figure it out until a friend pushed down both ends of the boot lid and then promptly opened it up. Give it a try might work for you!

It is possible that your boot has been locked manually with the metal key.
If the key slot in the lock is parallel to the number plates, it is locked. The boot cannot be opened remotely or using the switch on the driver's door.
It is a little stiff to unlock with the metal key. I had to try for about 15 minutes or so (with the help of some WD40) to get it open. The key slot should be at right angles to the number plate.
Check this out first.
Shan.
