I do not condone street racing, but I was on the turnpike on sunday with know other cars around. I ran into a rust colored brand spanking new c6 at a toll on the turnpike south. There is not much else to say except I blew by him like he was standing still several times. When he finally caught up the last time he gave me thumbs up and looked in awe wondering what kind of MB it was since I am debadged. The new Z06 might be a different result but by that time I will have the Kleemann installed. :v

I have a C6Z on order. Factory has now confirmed 505 hp rating. 3.8 0-60. Should be fun. My C5Z was. Too much fun...$$$$$$. :v

the c6 z06 will work over the e55 even with boost upgrades.

The new Z06 will be a awesome car and that is why I have one on order. I would have to disagree that it will work over a E55 that has a Kleemann K2 or K3 mod. The stock E55 seems slow (scary thought) to a K2 or K3 car.

Since I have the K2 installed and had driven my E55 for 16 months stock, I can say without a doubt that the car has been transformed. The car loses traction in every shift which would never happen when stock.

The new ZO6 has a full 1000lb weight advantage over a w211 . . . Simple math tells us that a e55 needs to make nearly 670hp to equal the hp/weight ratio of the ZO6 . . .

Of course we won't know how it's actually going to shake out until the 2 line up next to each other, but even a heavily modded e55 is going to be very hard pressed not to get it's lungs ripped out by the new vette . . .

It will be a fun race to see. Based on what I have read, the C6 Z06 should run about 11.6 1/4 times and we have seen the K2 & K3 cars run that. They are very different cars designed for different things but I would not be surprised to see a Kleemann E55 hang in the straights with the Z06.

lets not forget about the fact that mr corvette boy has to be able drive and shift at the same time wich for some reason in the real world is hard to do for most. so everyone can magazine race all they want I'll see ya at the lights
