Well we tried this before, so I say, let's try it again?

I have lined up a MB dealer to sponsor a little Beach Party, so all we need to do is decide a good date in mid to late Sept. Sat. and we can have quite a GTG and some fun and fellowship. I could use some ideas as to what folks might want in the way of goodies, so that I can arrange it with our sponsor. Don't worry, there won't be a drawing for an E55 or anything like that.

I'll post some details in the next day or two, along with some photos of the Beach park, along with details of what we can do or may want to do that day.

With a little help from my friends, we can have a really nice Beach Party and fun for all; I'll try and make this worth the drive for all those that can make it!

Let's set a date and have a ball?

Jim lets do it on September 20 or 27 they are both Saturdays and the closer to winter the cooler the weather.

Hopefully we can get a good turn out and start making this an annual gtg. If you want maybe we can get some decals made up for the gtg similar to what was done for autofest. Just a small decal that would go on the small triangle window. ASAP printing here in Cocoa is pretty reasonably priced. Just an idea so let me know.

I've been out of pocket the last couple of days on assignments, but I'll check with Parks about either the 20th or 27th, and love the decal idea!
Spoke to folks at MB dealer, and they're getting excited too!!!
BTW, just out of curiousity, how many MB owners would be interested in having a Kleeman Performance center located in Central Florida, run by real experts with a passion for MB's only?
I can have C32 AMG brake systems on hand for all that might want to upgrade their braking systems too!! email me off line for details.

If you want to do this decal thing lets have some ideas put out there and we can all work together to make a nice decal.

I would hate to put time into it if nobody wants one.

Well folks, it's set for Sept. 28th, which is a Sunday. All the places were booked for Sat., but there is a big benefit with this date; We now have the Beach House for our event now!!!!
I'll post some photos later, after the rain stops, and let you know that this is the best we could hope for!!!
This is a A frame house that was given to the City and it has AC, private parking, a little sandy area which is fenced for kids and a nice cooking/kitchen area all under one roof. We can do this come rain or shine!!
My dealership will be providing some goodies, and they're picking up the tab for the Beach House too!!!
Now, the downside; it is only good for 70 people, so don't wait too late!! Only kidding, as many people can mull around outside, but we can only have 70 people in the Beach House at one time!!
I'm still working on getting some drinks and food provided, and the dealer will bring a new G55 for those who would like to see one of those!
Let's see, covered party house for the GTG, a beautiful beach, possible food and drinks, music, photos by a Pro ( me!) a little video too, decals for all who attend and some other yet to be announced goodies; what am I forgetting?
Weather should be great, as it usually is that time of the year, and a chance to share fellowship with other Benz owners! Hope this is enough to get a lot of fellow Benz owners to come and have a good time?

My inlaws live in So. Miami, so here is the way I go to avoid all the traffic.
I jump on the Turnpike north and get off at Jupiter exit onto I-95 north til I come to Indian Harbor Beach exit, which I believe is now known as exit 183 ( it was known as exit #72), take a right heading East for 8 miles until you reach the end of that road, called Eau Gallie Blvd.,which dead ends onto A1A. You take a left turn and go 3 miles North until you come to Pelican Park Beach in Satellite Beach.
On the north end of that big parking lot and beach, is an A frame house with a Satellite Beach City sign out front!!! Pull into the parking lot, turn off the key and you're there!!!!
After I post the photos later, darn rain, you'll see what I mean. It's really easy to get to, and I'll post detailed directions later with 1/10 mile markers ( darn rain again!!)
Glad to hear that you So. Florida folks want to make it up too!! I look forward to seeing that ML55 of yours!!!

Hey i'm in Gainesville and i'm wondering how long of a drive is it.

Also if any Jacksonville people wanna meet up and caravan down, I live right off of I-75 which i think is on the way.

Hopefully there will be a big turnout.

It took me about 2 1/2 hours to get from my house to Ginnie Springs up around Gainsville. On account of that it believe it would take 3 hours to get to the GTG from Gainsville.

Wow thats not bad at all considering i always drive to Tampa and it takes me roughly about the same amount of time. I'm in.

I've been waiting for an all benz meet for a very long time.

Well, we have the beach house from 8 a.m. til 1 a.m., although I won't last til that hour in the evening, but if people want, we can start at 9 a.m. until?
I'll be getting over there at 8 to set things up, so it's OK if you show up early.
We can have beer and such, but it's a BYOB type of affair, as no one in their right mind provides booze at affairs any longer with all the lawsuits etc. Besides, I don't have a permit; not in the bar business.
Please spread the word to the other MB forums and hopfully we can have more fun than the Calif. Gov's election!
