I too installed the SB, and I was hoping that the initial lag from standing-still will disappear, but it didn't happen...sigh...however, once the car gets going, the lag seems to go away.

I was hoping to get rid of the lag altogether, however, the overall behavior of the car is improved. It is not so sluggish anymore, and it responds as it should have originally from the factory. I consider this not so much a high performance mod, but a correction of a design defect.

My car drives fine after installation. However I noticed my SB only has 5 pins(on the grey plug). Is it because it's 451A(AT version)? Or is it missing a pin? Can someone check it?

Can you post pics of your sprint booster ? The one you purchased from the Crossfire group ? As you said that only the initial lag has been rectified, I am kind of puzzled.
You will definitely feel the improvements besides the intial lag as the car is very much responsive.
Some of the fellas whom I got for them has felt the responsiveness of their vehicle besides the initial lag.
Unless yours is not working as what it should be, then it is better to get them to replace it...

Don't worry; I know my SB is working perfectly, because the throttle is more responsive or sensitive to my foot than ever before. I was just hoping that the initial lag from standing still will go away as if you are driving a racing game(= zero lag). btw, I guess 5 pins are the way it is according to the users in Crossfire Forum.

Has anyone had this problem where you turn the steering wheel to the extreme left or right like when you're in a parking lot and the steering wheel and gas pedal simultaniously click? like you turn all the way left, start turning back and the wheel and pedal click at the same time then turn all the way right and turn back and they click again? i must have not put the pedal back in properly.
the car is going in for service tomorrow because the shifter is getting really hard to shift so i'm gonna have them take a look at this clicking. i'll take my sprint booster out first of course.

I also agree that putting it back was a pain. I should have taken a picture before I disassemble the pedal, because I don't remember if the insulation material hangs out like what is shown in the picture below. I tried to push it back into the plastic pieces, but it doesn't budge. Can someone check it for me? Thanks!
Thanks

you feel the wheel and gas pedal click at the same time? I'm having that problem. I think I may have reinstalled the gas pedal incorrectly. Probably missed some kind of hook or spring I had to go around. Now I gotta take it apart again. I took it to the stealership and the dumb mechanic didn't see the problem. I showed my service advisor after I came to pick the car up and he agreed there is something inside the steering column and the gas pedal that clicks when you turn the wheel all the way to the left or right and back again.

Just ordered mine. Will let you know how it goes. I have an auto and ordered the aggressive model one. Hope I did not screw myself out of in traffic drivability such as stop and go traffic.

You are going to love it. I have the same set up as you. The sprint booster was what are cars needed after having our cars Kleemannized. The car takes off like an animal and then flys through each gear. You are going to love it! Which version did you buy, aggressive or non aggressive. Hopefully the aggressive one.

I work with most of the popo, so when I get pulled over it's like hey whats going on. And then cool how fast where you going, cool, be carefull see ya! The best was when we where doing the mountain tour in Washington with the Porsche club and I was going 90 in a 50 coming down from Mt. Jefferson. The officer asked how fast I was going and I told him I did'nt know and he went off to check my record and I thought write me a ticket, and all he did was give me a warning. My wife was so pissed because she has like three tickets. I told I just winked at him and he winked back, and that I think he was gay. Everyone in the club thought I was serious. Thank good I wasn't, not that there is a problem with that. LOL
