taking too much bandwidth
Okay, I know I'm splitting hairs here, and I know it's a bit hypocritical because I have taunted many for months now with my enormous .sig photo, but here I am at the crack of dawn at work surfing through a few topics on MBWorld when one of the threads I opened-in-another-window is taking too long to open up. Then my computer starts expulsing some unwelcome god-awful noise that some might call music. Needless to say, everyone within earshot now knows that I was NOT focusing on my work at the moment.
Come to find out, that in THIS thread, some kid who goes by the Nic of MeRcADeZ BoY or someother permutation of true English had my-spaced mbworld by adding a video clip to his .sig file.
Keeping in mind that allowing embedding was just recently discovered at myspace to cause an enormous security risk and myspace administrators disabled it immediately and across the board for ALL users, it seems to me that the three issues combined (unwelcome noise, bandwidth, and security risk) deserve to be addressed.
Thank you,
Grouchy old man (aka EDJ)

dunno you, your history here, or why you're "taunting" many -- ie. what the reasons are behind it -- or what your general "tone" is on the board -- whether you're quick to flame or even tempered and helpful -- etc... ya might be the most helpful & informative guy in the world. But I'll say, when I see your posts, I say to myself "oh, that's the guy with the big-*** sig" and skip over your posts 9 times out of 10.
again, not that ya should care, and I won't be surprised if you say "f-you, I don't care what you think", ....but there it is. Just thought I'd put in my "vote" to ask you to reduce the sig-size, as this thread is probably the one and only opportunity I'd have where saying/asking so would be relavant.
