can anyone tell me what is involved in removing the headlamp assy, need to get at the bulb holder that has managed to detach itself from the assy.So need to remove assy to rebond it - it is not an itemised spare and feel reluctant to pay £600 ($1100) for complete assy, until I have tried a repair.

Be sure to remove the 2 - 8mm bolts on the top of your bumper located on the inside area of the the headlamps for wiggle room that you will need and just remove the 2 - 10mm bolts securing each lamp and carefully wiggle them out, steel like knobs stick out of the fender side of each lamp so each lamp needs to pulled towards the center when taking them out.
