Pennock's Fiero Forums

Your known on Pennock's Pontiac Fiero Forums now, the best domestic mid-engine sports car ever

www.fiero.nl/forum

You all should try out the goodness of what can be done to Pontiac Fiero's, including 20 different GM engine swaps, tranny swaps, interior modding, suspension, etc. Nice cars when they're fixed. Only short lived because of the dumbass bigwigs at GM 1984-1988, Cut short because of the creator putting a corvette v8 into it, and slowing sales. Good ole gm didn't want anything beating its vette.

interior color question

I just have one question for 20FHK02:

Why does your car's interior appear a tan color in the front, but grey in the back in your initial pictures? I would assume that the lighting is playing tricks on your camera, but I am curious ...

I hope that your repair and leather upgrade proceeds smoothly and with a minimum of hassles.

For the vinal and plastic you might want to try WD40. I know it sounds rediculous but it works. I've used it for over 10 years detailing and it works great getting rid of tar on the outside of paint and marks on interior vinal from pens.

For the cloth I'd try and find a cosmoline remover. I've used this to get pen marks off cloth and leather interiors. It might work for the paint on the cloth. The most important part is to apply the product to a cloth not the surface and test it in a inconspicuous area. You should be able to find this at Home Depot. FYI cosmoline remover is basically a glue remover that's used for all kinds of things but at dealerships they use it to remove glue from all the plastic new cars are wraped in.

Good Luck
