Sprint Booster - Car behaving like a monster and hungry for speed

Guys,

I installed this gadget "sprint booster" a module that is made in europe on my SLK 200 (M271) and my vehicle is behaving a monster. The throttle response is unbelievable when it comes to acceleration. It is just like having a well tune ECU in your vehicle.

Some fellows have installed this module in their C32 AMG and C55 AMG and the response is amazing..

Go try it and you will love it for sure...

Was sharing with a friend of mine on this spring booster...he hardly believes it until I requested him to try it out without any obligation. Installation was relatively simple, less than 5 minutes...

When he put it and drove it, he immediately says he wants it without any second thoughts

According to other thread and current currency conversion the unit looks like it costs about 300 dollars. Could be wrong though. Need to find an American or British site.

I like the looks of it.

To make sure everyone has a feel what is the spring booster is, here is the official website with a video introduction of the device.

So it works by altering the signal from the throttle position sensor. Wouldn't this be the same as pressing faster on the gas pedal? Certainly doesn't add any power.

Car feels like a new car again due to throttle coming in early. This unit saves having to do this by keeping throttle linear all the time. Great idea..

BUT at 299 Euros Ill just reset my throttle every Saturday.

if you find them on EBAY give me a call

I tried resetting the throttle this morning and, while I only got to drive a few city blocks afterward, the car did seem to respond as though it were more "new." If course, it could have been placebo. Either way, it wasn't like getting slapped in the face by newfound speed; it was more of a subtle increase in responsiveness.

the instructions were in the part I quoted, it was pulled from the thread that this one linked at the beginning.

1: turn key to "on" (not to "start," you do not want it running)
2: push pedal all the way to the floor and hold it there
3: wait 5 seconds
4: turn key to "off" while still holding pedal
5: release pedal, wait approx 2 minutes

I just did it when I put gas in the car and will probably go through this routine every time I refill. It only takes a few seconds to perform and, by the time you're done filling up the two minutes should have passed.

The booster just a device which simply "eliminate" the gap and delay after u step on the gas. Booster takes away the "smoothness" MB trying to provide to his customers. Heard that the booster makes the car "start and accelerate" like BMW, faster responsiveness.

Doesn't it sound kinda' cool though? More responsiveness!!! I wonder how it would (and if it would)work with a programmed computer chip!!!

I own it without any regrets.. I was initially having doubts about this device but the good thing is I am allowed to tryit without any obligation, they fix it on my car for less than 5 mins anyway. Have been enjoying my drive for a few months. I removed it one day since it only takes less than 5 mins, and you know what ? without the booster, the car is sucks..can't believe it, the car throttle response is ****...

Put it back and it is perfect. Have a friend of mine who install it on his C200 kompresor and on a CLK 240, they love it so much. It is just like having a good remap ECU.

I know of a Bimmer M3 who install the booster but he remove it because the throttle is so scary when he steps on the gas pedal

So are you saying that you are advertising for them since you got a freebie?
