Probably not. (in my state anyway) BTW Kong, isn't the C220 a SOHC??? I have a '94 and I'm almost positive it's a SOHC.

I cannot say im positive, i wasnt sure in the beginning, though i pulled it from mbusa ...though iwhen i was making this sig earlier tonight, i thought it was weird that it was DOHC... ill tell you if i find out for sure. maybe MB made mistake on their site

yes they are legal. they do not turn on unless the doors are open.

Yeah i guess i figured that out now. haha thanks. I thought they stayed on when you drove, which wouldnt be legal in that case.

Hi there

It looks sweet! I just got a set of Brabus skirts for the ML 07 and it has the puddle lights, please can you tell me how you installed these? like where did you wire them up to?

Any help will be MUCH appreciated.

wow this is a old ass thread.

i wired them up to the door jams. the ones that detect when the doors are closed or open. duno if they still got those on 07 cars.

I think C220's are DOHC. I have a 94 and it's stated on our manual.
